I was freaking out about my video, because I have lots of event footage, but I didn’t know how to put it together.

I think I was trying to put together a bigger project, that would be pretty long (by internet standards). But today I realized that this doesn’t have to be an opus. It can be two minutes long. That made it a lot simpler and less stressful to think about.

I already posted an original song from the band I covered. I think what I’ll do is have the band open, have the beginning of the song, then do b-roll of the club, and do an interview with my friend that’s in the band. I’ll use the song being performed as a soundtrack. I think the song itself is about 4 minutes long, I just hope I have enough footage without the band in it to make it interesting.

I’m pretty excited about this project now.
